Scarfeet
A bizarre comedic Western about a woman bent on hunting down the demented plastic surgeon who deformed her family, and destroyed her life.
This film was part of the Philadelphia 48 Hour Film Project 2003. On the eve of filming, Cinevore’s team learned they would be required to make a Western, and to include the character Chaz Henderson, plastic surgeon, as well as a disposable camera, and the line “This crazy universe wasn’t meant for the likes of us, darlin’.” The results… are nothing short of brilliance.
At the 48 Hour awards screening on April 5th, 2003, Scarfeet won the Awards for both Best Directing (Matt Conant) and Best Use of Character (for Chaz Henderson).
